~Before becoming a Mom~

As a young girl 

getting ready to wed

thoughts running through my head

none were of children...

We wanted to be happy

having fun 

getting to know one another

having our first place...

Met in an idylic spot

Galveston Texas

beautiful ocean

we walked the boulevard beside it...

Leaving after his service

Coast Gaurdsman

Going to his hometown

in South Carolina...

Now I am expecting a son

our first born

we have joined our lives

and moving on ....

March 1962 I became a Mom

A tiny baby so cuddly and warm

our lives have changed once again

Responsibility of being Dad and Mom...

I miss Hometown in Ky

another family we have become

raising a son and learning

just how to be a Mom...
