I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Ky along with my brother Ken and his wife Wanda...visited sister Bonnie and other family there then took Bonnie with us on short trip to Macanaw island in Michigan.  this was a informitive and happy occasion for us..none had been there and got to see two of the Great Lakes, Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.  beautiful waters so clear and a color of blue-green....we toured by horse and carriage on the island no cars allowed and went over by ferry that seemed to literally fly across the waters with water spewing up over the sides high into the air....what a day.
enjoyed the shops and viewing all there, little chilly with lot of wind but enjoyable anyway, stopped for coffee in morning and lunch afternoon then back to the inland to enjoy the sights in Macanaw City, impressive trip all around..met folks from Ky and one that even grew up and went to school with Paula Dean a special lady who lives in Savannah Ga near where I live in Ga....
